The windmill hill under construction. I have started to paint it to get a better idea of perspective. Lighter colours on the steep bits and darker on the flat. |  |

The 1:128 scale Bruder Mini Claas Tractor and the 3 cows of a slightly larger scale are in approximate positions. The idea is to make the distance seem greater. What scale is the Windmill? We estimate is 1:200. Quite tiny compared with the Britains standard 1:32 |

Finished article? Trees come from from Woodland Scenics range and are 3 cm high to 10cm. Cattle are now joined by some oversize piglets up in the woods |

<< November 2007 and the mill hill has been improved with brown and green rough grass. Another sow has a litter and is looking "in the pink"
NOTE: visitors are not allowed in this area - the children on ponies live in Leakey Vale and are out to exercise the ponies. The gate will be locked after they have passed through. |
